Oldtime Jams at the Jones House

Every Thursday evening from 7pm to 10pm, the Jones House is host to a community based, old time music jam. These events are free and open to the public. Guests are invited to bring an acoustic instrument to participate in the jams or listen and observe the fiddle tunes and folk songs in a close-up and casual environment. Each week, various musicians from the local community, as well as visitors, gather throughout the Jones House. After catching up and choosing a key the music begins a little after 7pm, with the "last call for tunes" coming around 9:45pm

Summer Concerts at the Jones House

Join us on the Jones House lawn during the summer for free musical performances from some of the best local and regional acts. The summer concerts are held weekly on Fridays starting at 5:30 pm during June, July, and August - with a bonus concert on Labor Day weekend! Concerts are free and open to the public. Just bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Free parking downtown after 5 pm!

Indoor Concerts at the Jones House

Throughout the Fall, Winter, and Spring, The Jones House is home to intimate, listening room style concerts. For years, regional and nationally touring American roots music artists have entertained enthusiastic audiences in the Mazie Jones Gallery. These ticketed concerts have a 40 seat maximum so advanced registration is required. Some concerts are preceded by free, instructional workshops and master classes. Limited parking is available on a first come first served basis in the Jones House lot for workshop and concert attendees.
