Farmers' Markets
Come Enjoy and Shop Local
In Boone, we are extremely fortunate to have many farmers markets residing in our Town Limits or in the surrounding counties. These skilled farmers and artisans come from miles around to bring fresh, local produce and products to Boone.
Watauga County Farmers' Market
The Watauga County Farmers’ Market has been considered the town square of the High Country since 1974. Vendors in the region provide locally made and produced food, art, music and crafts in a mountain setting in the heart of Boone, NC. We are a 100% producer-only market. Every Saturday morning May through November you will find fresh produce, locally farmed meats, eggs, artisan chocolate, fine pastries and breads, cut flowers, hardy plants, handcrafted jewelry, original art, unique crafts, locally roasted coffee, smoked sturgeon/caviar, honey, carved wooden tableware, apothecary products, herbal tinctures and therapeutic oils. In addition to a carefully selected group of professional vendors, there are food trucks, a kids corner, live music and cooking demonstrations. Give us a Visit! Gather with friends and meet some new ones. It’s a wonderful opportunity to spend time in the community while supporting local producers.
