Local Historic District

 Downtown Boone Local Historic District Approved October 21, 2021


The Downtown Boone Local Historic District is roughly bounded by Straight Street to the west, Queen Street to the north, Appalachian Street to the east, and Rivers Street to the south. The District features 89 buildings that contribute to the architectural and historical significance of the District, whose period of significance extends from 1918 to 1964.
